Job Description
As a Blender/Cellar Hand you will play a crucial role in the production of wine and other beverages by assisting the team in cellar operations and blending processes.
This is a hands-on and physical position and involves working closely with the production team to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bulk wine quality throughout bottling process Ensuring Production Lines run efficiently and within cost targets through cellar management
- Carry out wine movements and operations as per cellar notes
- Ensure batch numbers for additive traceability are correct and recorded
- Monitor bulk wine storage
- Arrange and carry out filter & filler sterilization and CIP
- Arrange and carry out Kosher Wine process
- Arrang and carry out Organic Wine process
- Follow cellar notes
- Other duties as directed by the Winemaker/Assistant Winemaker
- Support the HACCP Food Safety system by recognising, solving or reporting defects and problems as they arise.
- Ensure CCP1 integrity testing filters is under control.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Previous Cellar Hand experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Australian Work Rights.
