Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Follow directions from the Leading Hand and Site Foreman
- Install sewerage, stormwater drainage, and service pipework to specified grade and alignment (minimum 2 years’ experience required)
- Set up and operate laser levels, dumpy levels, and pipe lasers
- Install concrete structures including manholes, headwalls, and box culverts
- Assist with and monitor trench excavation for pipe installation
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Work effectively both independently and within a team
- Qualified Plumber (desirable)
- Certificate III in Civil Construction (Pipe Laying highly regarded)
- Confined Space Entry certification
- Current Driver’s Licence (HR or higher preferred)
- Construction Induction White Card
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
