We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to work on diverse projects involving mechanical plumbing systems, HVAC infrastructure, and associated services.

About The Role:
As a Mechanical Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of mechanical plumbing systems across a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities Installation & Maintenance
  • Install, maintain, and repair chilled water, heating water, and condenser water systems
  • Install pumps, valves, strainers, expansion tanks, and associated plant
  • Perform pipe fabrication including threading, welding, brazing, soldering, and crimping
  • Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and system commissioning
  • Carry out fault finding and breakdown repairs
Site Work & Coordination
  • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Mark out pipe routes, penetrations, and supports
  • Perform general site duties including cutting, drilling, and assembly
  • Liaise with project teams and other trades
  • Maintain clean and organised worksites
Documentation & Compliance
  • Complete timesheets, service reports, and QA documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and plumbing codes
  • Adhere to permit systems (Working at Heights, Hot Works, Confined Spaces, etc.)
Team Support
  • Mentor apprentices and trade assistants
  • Support training and development initiatives
About You Qualifications & Licences
  • Certificate III in Plumbing (Mechanical Services) or equivalent
  • Current Plumbing Licence (Mechanical Services highly regarded)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Ability to pass required background checks
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical plumbing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
