Job Description
This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for school leavers or anyone wanting to start a long-term career in the painting and decorating trade.
You’ll be employed through Prestige Staffing’s GTO (Group Training Organisation) program, giving you added support, job security, and structured training while you complete your Certificate III in Painting & Decorating through Bendigo TAFE.
About the Role:
As an Apprentice Painter, you will work across a variety of residential and commercial projects in the Mildura region. You'll learn practical, in demand trade skills including:
- Preparing internal and external surfaces
- Sanding, patching and priming
- Applying protective and decorative coatings
- Using brushes, rollers, spray equipment and access tools
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Assisting on small projects, renovations and large commercial buildings
You will be supported by Prestige Staffing’s GTO Program
Being employed through a GTO means:
- Ongoing mentoring and support for the entire apprenticeship
- Regilar check ins to keep you progressing

You will complete your Certificate III in Paining & Decorating with Bendigo TAFE, giving you:
