Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Plant Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital infrastructure projects while working in a supportive and values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate major plant and equipment, including loaders, excavators, skid steer loaders, trucks, and trailers.
- Support road construction, maintenance, concrete, and drainage works.
- Maintain equipment in safe, clean, and serviceable condition.
- Perform traffic control duties and complete relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, ratepayers, and external service providers.
- Uphold OH&S policies and contribute to continuous improvement.
You’re a team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and service excellence. You bring:
- A current Heavy Combination Driver’s Licence.
- Competency in operating frontend loaders, excavators, skid steer loaders, and truck/trailer combinations.
- Experience in road and drainage construction and maintenance.
- Ability to set up traffic control signage.
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check if required.
