Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in a fast-paced commercial print environment?

We are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Printer to join a dynamic production team specialising in high-quality large-format, digital and custom print solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience across the full print production process — from pre-press setup and file preparation through to operating advanced printing equipment and finishing techniques — while completing a Certificate III in Printing.

Working with a business that delivers signage, branded materials, and tailored print products for a wide range of industries, you’ll develop valuable technical skills, learn to maintain and operate industry-leading machinery, and become part of a team committed to precision, quality and innovation.

About the Role
As an Apprentice Printer, you will be trained in all areas of commercial printing and press operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

· Assisting with pre-press setup, file preparation and job setup for large-format and digital print projects
· Preparing materials and loading substrates for signage, branded materials and custom print runs
· Operating and monitoring digital and large-format printing equipment under supervision
· Conducting quality checks to ensure colour accuracy, alignment and finish meet client specifications
· Cleaning, maintaining and assisting with the upkeep of printing machinery and production areas

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

· Practical aptitude with machinery and a hands-on approach
· Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems
· Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
· A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Training & Qualification
This apprenticeship follows a blended training model, which includes:
· On-site workplace training
· Travel to the Holmesglen Chadstone campus three times per year

Upon successful completion, apprentices will receive a Certificate III in Printing.
