Job Description


We are seeking a hands-on Project Supervisor to support the on site delivery of a large scale civil infrastructure project across multiple regional locations. This role is ideal for someone with site experience who enjoys being on the ground, monitoring works, capturing accurate site data and supporting safe and compliant construction delivery.

Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in site observations, contractor support, documentation and field level reporting to ensure works are delivered in line with safety, quality, environmental and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Site Monitoring & Documentation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor contractor activities
  • Verify compliance with safety, quality, and environmental obligations
  • Maintain accurate daily site diaries, photo records, and issue logs
  • Ensure all site records support audit, inspection, and reporting requirements
Contractor & Compliance Support
  • Monitor contractor compliance with approved Safety and Environmental Management Plans
  • Identify, record, and escalate site issues or non-conformances
  • Support the implementation and close-out of RFIs, incident reports, and audit actions
Site Coordination & Team Support
  • Liaise daily with contractors, consultants, and internal project team members
  • Support site logistics including access, permits, deliveries, and materials
  • Attend site meetings and provide field-based inputs and observations
Reporting & Systems
  • Provide daily and weekly progress updates to the Project Engineer
  • Track construction progress, milestones, and site risks
  • Capture and manage site data using digital field systems (e.g. Sitemate or similar)
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for audits and compliance reporting
About You
Essential
  • Experience working in civil construction environments
  • Strong understanding of site safety, environmental, and quality requirements
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently on remote or regional project sites
  • Comfortable using digital tools for field data capture and reporting
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Desirable
  • Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Environmental or related discipline (or working towards)
  • Experience working on environmentally sensitive or culturally significant sites
  • Exposure to government-funded or publicly regulated infrastructure projects
  • Experience with project tracking or scheduling tools
  • White Card and First Aid certification
