Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced tradesperson with strong welding skills to step into a Quality Leading Hand – Trades position. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring workmanship standards are consistently met across the workshop while leading by example in a hands-on capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all products are tested in accordance with food safety standards, customer requirements, and in accordance with Food Safety & Quality Systems.
- Ensure compliance to Internal Pest monitoring and recording processes.
- Ensure all product, equipment and packaging is stored according to procedures.
- Assist in internal and external auditing process.
- Ensure Quality Assurance staff are appropriately trained and skilled to ensure consistent and accurate interpretation and assessment of defects.
- Compile samples for product testing, to ensure compliance with food safety standards, client specific requirements, and nutritional content.
- Strong welding capabilities
- Experience in similar roles
- An understanding of Quality Assurance programs
- Internal auditing skills
- Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
